Goodness, it’s been so hard choosing a few favouri Goodness, it’s been so hard choosing a few favourites from Nikki & Dillion’s day! They tied the knot at Whangamata Farm Weddings, which honestly couldn’t have been more them. A working farm, stunning bush, laid-back, family-style atmosphere they’re all about. The kind of place where no one sweats the small stuff - but pull off an epic celebration with true blue country hospitality. Here’s to Rikayla ✨ and I hope this doesn’t embarr Here’s to Rikayla ✨ and I hope this doesn’t embarrass her but her utter happiness radiates everything I love about weddings. She carries joy that fills a room and makes my job the absolute best. Now… if you make it to the end of this caption I’ll be impressed 😉 and here’s the thing ... Rikayla has a pretty incredible job. She’s a paramedic with @stjohnnz Just a few days after photographing her wedding, I found myself with a beloved family member at 3am, in that horrible situation of trying to decide whether to make the call for an ambulance or not. We did. And who walks through the door? Two incredible women… one of them being Rikayla herself. I can tell you this, her beautiful smile lit up the room all over again. The same warmth, the same sense of calm and kindness, the same spark of fun… in a tense moment when it was exactly what we needed. So here you see a carefree, daisy picking fun-loving, bride having the best day that she deserves but when she has her paramedic boots on, I tell ya did we appreciate all the warmth carrying over into the way she cares for people on what can be some of their worst days. Here’s to the incredible teams of emergency responders (and the families behind them) who show up for the rest of us every single day. @stjohnnz You’ve got a goody here 💜 & @rikayla_richardson yr an absolute beauty & you both deserve that honeymoon 😘🙏🏼
Trelise & Leigh chose one of the most iconic Bay o Trelise & Leigh chose one of the most iconic Bay of Plenty beaches for their intimate family wedding,Waihi Beach 🤍🌊 This was everything I love photographing weddings. Kids running barefoot, beachgoers strolling past offering congratulations, cousins playing - A true family affair with everyone pitching in with cakes, flowers, and all the happy tears.
