As a couple that doesn’t love pictures, Rochelle took the stress out of ‘how to pose’ ‘what to do’ out of my mind. I was able to freely enjoy the time with my bridal party and husband. Savanna and Troy had their beautiful, unique Hawkes Bay barn wedding on 7th December 2019. Rochelle's incredible work really speaks for itself and I have wondered what I could say that her photos don't already testify to! But, as the mother-of-the bride, I wanted to say this : before Savanna and Troys wedding I told myself to just relax and enjoy the day, be in the moment and absorb it all but to be honest, as wonderful and relaxed as the day was, when the dust had all settled, it was all just a blur and I longed to remember it all in detail!!! Then Rochelle's photos arrived! Not only were they just completely unreal gorgeous but I could literally relive it all - every precious moment from the getting ready on the morning to the crazy dance floor fun at the end of the day!! Rochelle was the perfect match for our wedding day. From the first Skype call we had with her we knew she had the right energy and vibe to match us both and capture some special shots of us and our best mates in our special place of Whangamata. Rochelle invested her own time to travel to Whanga from Tga to scope the ideas I had given her months before the big day and she even found a few extras of her own too. The showery weather was no drama and just made for more adventures as Rochelle had us under umbrellas on the wharf, had arranged with a local to use a beautiful gully of tall trees and she even got creative with the rings, shoes, evening shots and lighting throughout the day/night. After the day she was also super efficient at getting us some sneak peaks to satisfy our excitement and followed through a week or so later with the most beautiful handmade package by courier. Such a joy to work with, we would highly recommend Rochelle and her photos as well :)

Choosing Rochelle to be our photographer for our wedding was probably one of the best decisions we made. Rochelle did a beyond incredible job capturing our day and was so personable and well received by all. Rochelle has captured every special moment of our day in a way we could never have imaged from scouting forestry areas for our photos, finding the perfect lighting, catching all the heartfelt candid moments.. she is incredible! The communication with Rochelle was amazing and we never once wondered where our photos were or how much longer they would be. We were married on Saturday and by Monday evening we had a mini collection of maybe 100 low res photos to browse though and share with our family - 3 weeks later we were hand delivered the most extensive collection of incredible photos for us to relive our special day. It is fair to say that Rochelle exceeded all of our expectations. She was so enthusiastic and truly cared about the end result. Rochelle shot my autumn wedding back in May 2018 and I can honestly say she is the best photographer! She listened to us with what we wanted, was firm on the day when we had limited time to get the good light and the results speak for themselves. When planning a wedding it's so important to get a good photographer and we definitely did! Rochelle takes absolutely stunning photos. She takes advantage of different lighting and takes a range of beautiful landscape photos and also candid shots which makes a really nice mix and tells a fantastic story of the whole day. Where do I start? Rochelle…You. Are. Amazing. I don’t know how she managed to wrangle Russ and I but she absolutely nailed the challenge and the photos that we’ve already received not even a month after our wedding...just WOW. We personally opted for the package that included two photographers to cover the full day and we were absolutely thrilled with the results. My hubby and I aren’t really big on photos but with Rochelle we never felt like we were being orchestrated or put into poses – she just let us do our thing and worked her magic. She worked tirelessly throughout the long day and we have such a huge variety of photos to pick from that cover those natural and raw moments plus we got all of the family shots that we hoped for including lots of really fantastic pictures of my dear grandad. Honestly, my face hurts from smiling so much when I look through the pictures and that to me means that Rochelle and Jo managed to perfectly capture the Wedding of our dreams, so thank you so much for being a part of our A team and we will not hesitate to recommend your services in the future.

We both would like to thank you again for what you have done for us. We are so amazed with your images, professionalism, presentation and just you in general. You are defiantly a master of your craft.As you know I love the natural style of editing, I’m all about expressing the how it actually was on the day. Your editing style is just perfect. You manage to make us feel as if we are right back there, walking through the tall grass or down the long driveway.
You were able to handle everything so well, Even getting everyone in order for the family and friends shots, I am always a little nervous when in the same situation and afraid of being firm with the guest, We loved how you did this, You got them to stop messing around and got shit done. Ha ha.
Going through the images, Especially the ones of the ceremony, you have managed to capture almost every angle possible, I know for a fact that this is a challenge to achieve, You must have been running around like mad :) However to your credit we had no idea. You made it seem like you weren't even there. How on earth did you do that?
Your creative eye is outstanding, every shot you delivered is framed and composed to perfection, and it seemed so effortless to you on the day. You knew exactly what you wanted and how to get it. I can see the classic Rule of Thirds throughout your work but also you understand when to break that rule and when you do it is fantastic.
We were blown away with the amount of images you delivered, Now I know that not every shot that you/I click off is going to be a good shot, Man have I taken some shockers! But to receive just under 1000 images was amazing. It tells me that you understand your equipment and the whole process of capturing it right in camera. You don't have to answer this question but how many shot did you actually take on the day?
Your presentation of the final product was perfect, we loved every part of it, from our very own personalised box, and the Pure Images USB and your selection of prints, Just Beautiful. Your personal touches make it stand out.
Overall Rochelle, if we were to do it all again we wouldn't hesitate to have you again. And if you were not available on the date we would change the date of our wedding!! From the moment you arrived at the hotel to the moment you left after everything was done you were truly amazing. We will always remember our wedding day but because of you it will be extra magical.
