Waihi Beach Wedding

Patrick and Holly chose to have their New Zealand beach wedding on the very beautiful Waihi Beach. Their wedding venue was Flat White Cafe.

Now their wedding day had had a LOT of rain predicted so we had all sorts of wet weather locations as back up options. The Flat White Cafe Wedding Venue has the best of both worlds being directly beach front and if it’s a wet weather day you can still be married with the beautiful Waihi beach as back drop.

So after a heartfelt wedding ceremony, the rain stopped (as it often does) and their wedding guests could spread out to the lawn outside. Then the rain started … and … stopped … and … started … and stopped (it was one of those days 😉 But what made this day especially joyous was Holly and Patrick’s absolute relaxed attitudes. You can just see the rain drops in our nearby bush location while it rained around them.

We returned to the beach … and the rain stopped and I’ll never forget how Holly ran out to the beach and embraced her day! Scroll on down for some heart warming moments while during their wedding photography it was all just about them embracing the moment! Loved loved LOVED this day!
